I reviewed the book "Sustainable infrastructure for cities and societies" by Michael Neuman for the Journal of #UrbanAffairs.

My main takeaway: everyone should read and re-read at least Part 1.

Hello! I recently switched servers, so I thought I'd do another #introduction post.

I'm a #journalist based in #NYC. Since 2015 I've written primarily for NextCity.org, an #urbanaffairs publication covering social, #racial and environmental #justice in #cities across the country. My specific coverage is a mix of #realestate #banking/#finance #urbanplanning & more.

Since 2015, I've also been self-tracking the race & gender of the sources I quote in my work.

And my cats are cuter than yours.

I see a number of new faces among my followers, so i'll introduce myself.

I'm a freelance #journalist based in Calgary. I write about #UrbanAffairs, #RealEstate, and #Housing—mostly with a #Calgary focus.

But consider yourselves warned. Under absolutely no circumstances expect all of my toots to be, err... professional.
I have a tendency towards bad jokes, snark, and general irreverence.

I'm not super active in here yet, but you can be sure at least i'll be tooting my work in. Fin!
