Asian Wrestling Championships 2023 moved from New Delhi to Astana, Kazakhstan

The 36th edition of the continental meet was originally scheduled from March 28 to April 2 in India.

"[United World Wrestling] was forced to change the host of the continental championships due to the recent developments in Indian wrestling and a pending inquiry by the Indian sports ministry against the Wrestling Federation of India," a press release on the UWW website stated.
