@krono @illogical_me @neil Depends on the brokenness level of the device. Sometimes a lesser cable can yield “better” results in the context of a particular use-case.
Thunderbolt compliance is no panacea. Neither is USB4 compatibility.
The same cable can do 10 or 20 Gbit/s over USB, depending on OS and device combination but 40Gbit/s over Thunderbolt.
The complexity is multi-dimensional.

- Actual connection: USB 3.2 Gen2 SuperSpeed+, aka USB 10GiBit/s. Yes, renamed *again*.
- R: 1000MiB/s
- W: 700MiB/s
Cable B: not-certified, same specs as A
- Actual connection: USB 4 Gen 3
- R: 5.2GiB/s
- W: 4.8GiB/s

- Bis zu 10W via Apple Charging Signaling. (5V, 2.1A)
Die Ports sind in Braille mit „USB“ beschriftet.
Es gibt neben manchen Sitzen auch Runde Ladestationen mit gleicher Funktion.
Made a Adapter for USB-C to Nintendo 3DS because the proprietary charging adapter annoyed me. Volt Display just because why not, USB decoy so that it works on my Power Delivery Power Bricks.
