London's police Commissioner is claiming the power to extradite US citizens who have never set foot in the UK over online posts concerning the recent racist pogroms that violate BRITISH law.

Here is my personal challenge to London Police Commissioner Rowley:

I am NOT subject to your laws and here is my defiance of them: I think anti-Fascist activists in the UK should have used considerably more force at the beginning to suppress the pogroms. That is legal to say here in the US but the UK does not have the First Amendment.

While I understand that your intended target is probably those who support the pogroms, I know damned well that this sort of law would never, ever stop there. Same bad precedent as the FACE (clinic access law) in the US being used against Jane's Revenge.

It is longstanding law that extradition is limited to acts illegal in both countries. Commissioner Rowley, that means YOU cannot reach me, and I accept the side effect that it does mean you can't reach the Proud Boys etc either. Let my crew handle them, we don't need the cops. I learned a long time ago that when Fascists are assaulting people and people are fighting back, cops showing up is just more fascists on the scene.

I am not one of the UK's subjects, am not in any way bound by UK law just as the owner of a porn site in the Netherlands cannot be extradited for "violating" the US FOSTA/SESTA laws about running classified ads on behalf of sex workers.

I defy you, Commissioner Rowley! Have a problem with this? BRING IT ON!
