#ScotRail sadly failing yet again to provide a proper quality #InterCity service. What really should be a 4 or 5 coach #InterCity125 ends up compressed into a 3 coach regional #Turbostar instead. The sooner they replace the now clapped out and unreliable 40+ year old #HST with more reliable modern proper InterCity trains (and #ScotGov electrifies the routes), the better!
I was particularly lucky when travelling on the #Ashford International to #Hastings #Marshlink Line 🇬🇧 back in (I think) 2005 or 2006: a lovely 1950s Class 201 #Thumper unit worked the train instead of a more modern Class 171 #Turbostar trainset.
