The washing machine cycle comes to an end, I move the big load into the dryer, close the door, set the timer, press the start button and.....nothing. What a pain!

I wish HOAs, neighborhood associations, and apartment managers in this part of the USA would rethink the all too common bans on washing lines. I hate being made to depend on dryer technology.

#TumbleDryers #WashingLines #Technology #EverydayAnnoyances

Condensing #tumbledryers are a packaging nightmare. Mine is put together like a Chinese puzzle, with ducts for hot and cold air, a heat exchanger, and a sump to collect the condensate, with a pump to move it to a collection bottle, all wrapped around the spinning drum.

In my case, the issue looks like a worn (intermittently faulty) float switch in the sump. A cheap part, if I can find one to fit it. That's tomorrows problem!
