I'm hoping that I was never that "new, young, rude, know-it-all-it-guy", and I'm sorry to hear that you had to put up with him.

The shopping and the cooking have made up for his boorish behaviour, I hope.

NEGATIVES

-- I think I flubbed a question about ed tech in an interview earlier today.

-- I opened a new tub of Dannon plain yoghurt, only to discover it was entirely liquid. There's nothing wrong with the fridge.

-- Anguish because a health problem is compounded by an insurance problem.

POSITIVES

-- I bought some tiramisu at Trader Joe's , which I will eat tomorrow evening.

-- "Napoleon III and his carnival empire" by John Bierman is a work of popular history that I am finding both informative and entertaining.

The washing machine cycle comes to an end, I move the big load into the dryer, close the door, set the timer, press the start button and.....nothing. What a pain!

I wish HOAs, neighborhood associations, and apartment managers in this part of the USA would rethink the all too common bans on washing lines. I hate being made to depend on dryer technology.
