For the fourth time since 2013, Texas Monthly has released its prestigious list of the state’s top 50 barbecue spots. Eight Houston-area restaurants made the cut in 2025, with one cracking the top 10.

Eight Houston-area barbecue restaurants make Texas Monthly’s top 50 list for 2025

Houston's Truth Barbeque, located at 110 S. Heights Blvd., was ranked ninth in the state. It was the only Houston-area restaurant to make this year’s top 10-list.
