Here is a summary of the transition process and the law that applies , when I first read about it I found out how important is to have the full cooperation of the outgoing administration as well as the incoming one , the law is not perfect and nobody expected Trump to behave the way he did , that has to change and hopefully the law will improve to prevent that from happening again, I had no idea it was this complex.
