My advice to ‘tradies’ is to ditch their fuel guzzling diesel #Trucks and purchase a BEV Van instead. Sure looks less #Blokey but it keeps the business going regardless, especially if tradies install PV panels and PV Btty on their home as well. It’s a no-brainer really. Heck, if you can’t afford a BEV Van, take out a lease and benefit from tax concessions. Monster 4WD ute owners winging about cost of fuel ought to start thinking with their brains and not their dicks IMO. Happy to take flak on this.

Someone sick? Parts not available? Some bullshit reason? Sure, whatever, if you contact the people that have again organised their day around your promises. Easy, but no, let them stew without contact. They'll be sure to leave a positive review, especially if you're consistent.
There are times I miss J's righteous wrath. I hated being the recipient, but she was fantastic at angrily getting up slack tradies not doing what they were paid to do.
Me, I'm really pissed off. System works, mostly. They made mistakes. That's ok, just fix them, & don't create more issues. "Leave it with me".
So... I've just sent a gentle text about a range of issues, which are all STILL at "leave it with me" status, despite ranging from 1-6mths old, & I feel sick & shaky.
Once again, I need tradies to do some electrical work.
Once again, I've contacted a few for quotes, and only one has bothered to reply. Well technically two, but an email telling me they'd be in touch, followed by silence doesn't really count...
🤷♂️ Sigh. But what would I know? I'm not a business owner whose livelihood is dependent on getting back to people seeking to employ me.
