Playing D&D with Europeans really highlights how shitty using 5ft as a standard is. They've got very little idea and it doesn't even have a quick change to metric. Were it 6ft, you could just say 2m instead, but nooooooo. Or fucking "one box" or whatever.
Just asked if the bibliotek in town was hiring. Librarian said that including him, he only has 3 employees and could use 3 more, but has no budget for it. They haven't cut the budget, but with inflation its still cut.
C'est la vie. It was a long shot. I'd need a visa anyway.
