- lake level goes down
- houses dry out
- "For Sale" signs go up

I'm (no longer) surprised at how regularly these floodable lakefront houses sell.

Well, here I was thinking that now that the rain had stopped, things were looking better.
But just got an "Evacuate now!" SMS from the SES 🤯

However, I think I'll treat it with some scepticism 🤔 despite my reasonable proximity to the lake.
