¹ – I call them game journalist because that would piss them off tremendously. It wouldn’t, they’re dead. But it’s a bizarre coincidence that they were among the first prominent voices, at least in my circle, talking about the importance of accessibility options in games. Also weird.
² – That storefront was working with shitty people? Super weird!

Goddammit. After finding the #CynicalBrit easter egg in #JaggedAlliance3, I must've made a web search or something and wound up watching a documentary on #JohnBain on YouTube.
I'm only crying a little bit.
He's had such a huge influence on the games I'm interested in, he's why I'm mildly aware and interested in what's going on in the gaming industry, he's probably why I'm watching and listening to podcasts. I'm following Jesse, Dodger and Crendor because of him. I'm aware of and watching #AGDQ's and #SGDQ's because of him.
He was also a metalhead, which is something I totally didn't know ...
Aww. Appreciated.

"Stop pre-ordering videogames!"
Anyway. I bought the #ScottPilgrim movie on BluRay a while back, and watched it yesterday. I'd watched before, but proper audio and subtitles helped me get more out of it.
It's a very ludicrous and ridiculous movie that I enjoy very much.
BTW, first I heard of it was, I think, when #TotalBiscuit described it in a Co-Optional Podcast as "the best cinematic rendition of a computer game - and it's not even based on a computer game".
