Goddammit. After finding the #CynicalBrit easter egg in #JaggedAlliance3, I must've made a web search or something and wound up watching a documentary on #JohnBain on YouTube.

I'm only crying a little bit.

He's had such a huge influence on the games I'm interested in, he's why I'm mildly aware and interested in what's going on in the gaming industry, he's probably why I'm watching and listening to podcasts. I'm following Jesse, Dodger and Crendor because of him. I'm aware of and watching #AGDQ's and #SGDQ's because of him.

He was also a metalhead, which is something I totally didn't know ...

Maybe #GennaBain is continuing his curation on that account? AFAIK #JohnBain did intend for her to continue his activities, and she at least has been doing the #CoOptionalPodcast for instance on his YouTube account.
