A cautionary reminder that if you actively court the most extreme voices in your bubble and forget there's a world outside it you will make incrementally bad choices until in the end you will only have the choice of one of two bad outcomes and you'll choose the sincerely deranged person who will drive you over a cliff over the cynically dishonest person who might, just might, put the brake on.

Later this morning we find out if the Tory party want to be led by a barking far right man or a barking far right woman.

Badenoch or Jenrick to be next Tory leader.
I hope that this means the end of the Tory party by moderates not voting for them. But fear that Labour's lackluster performance will mean that an extremist Conservative party will be put into power at the next election.
