The first boss of #DarkSouls3 - Ludex Gundyr. Had a mercenary build, the leftovers of potions from dealing with the tutorial, dashed into the boss thinking it was going to be a breeze. And then this guy slashes once or twice and takes me out. #TooManyTimes .

I have to give it to Pushing Onwards from the VVVVVV soundtrack. I lost track of how many times I had to do Doing Things The Hard Way before I finally got it, but thankfully the song is a bop throughout the whole experience.

I died 967 times over the course of 2 hours and 45 minutes completing "The Summit" in Celeste with zero optional content completed because I am terrible at platformers.
The soundtrack is still great though.
This week's VGM Wednesday is about the ones that you hear a lot because you keep retrying something.
Lots of choices for me to pick from, but I'll go with the most recent one: Scramble from Great Mahou Daisakusen.
This is the theme for stage 1, which is phenomenally designed. It may not be tough, but it has a lot of room for scoring strategies. The harder you push for score, the harder the stage gets.
I spent a lot of time replaying this not only because I kept screwing up my strategies, but also to refine them to complete more item sets. All in just 1.5min of gameplay.
