☝️ ooo and in a beautiful mirror image of #tonicMasculinity tonight I watched the #lilithFairDocumentary and it is chocked full of #tonicFemininity (if that's a term).
My heart feels so much lighter. Gorgeous music, amazing collaboration, uplifting each other, creating safe spaces to be yourself. A blueprint of a different way to be, regardless of gender.

☝️ OMG this is well timed. Just discovered a show on #CBC called #theAssembly - neurodivergents asking blunt questions of celebrities in a setting where it's ok to be socially awkward. The first episode with Howie Mandel was so much of this male emotional mentorship and vulnerability that we've been talking about.

I think I missed #internationalMensDay but I've been thinking a lot lately about male mentorship, not the business kind, but coaching peers and young men on emotional literacy and interpersonal skills.

There's been a lot of talk lately about women not doing #emotionalLabour (valid!) but it leaves a gap, with no history or cultural infrastructure for men to learn and build capacity.

Fellas, hit me with moments of man-on-man emotional mentoring. I know it's out there.
