#TodayIRealised that the #Norwegian word 'vise' or 'visa' for a melody/tune, is similar to the #Dutch word 'wijs' (or more commonly used in its diminutive form 'wijsje').

Still kinda curious how it got this (secondary) meaning, as 'wijs' nowadays is more commonly used to mean 'wise', and the related 'wijze' for 'way of doing things'.
