My great-grandfather was Lt-Gov of PEI for five years after World War II, and my family comes from Tignish. So I pay attention to Tignish news, because of course I do.

A new highway sign is being erected over Hwy 2 outside Tignish Sunday morning. The province politely suggested a detour route around this work.

Well if the local Facebook group isn’t on fire. Better detour routes. Which road is paved now. Not with my truck I won’t. Surely I’ll be in church.
