#Elections2024 #TheRunUp Podcast

Reading this piece by @adamserwer in the Atlantic makes me wonder if he’s subtweeting #AsteadHerndon, who’s been beclowning himself on his #TheRunup podcast by incessantly flogging Biden’s age.

How Hur Misled the Country on Biden’s Memory — The Atlantic

The saga has been something of a self-inflicted wound for Democrats. March 13, 2024 First impressions stick. After a big story hits, the initial conclusions can turn out to be wrong, or partly wrong, but the revisions are not what people remember. They remember the headlines in imposing font, the solemn tone from a presenter, the avalanche of ironic summaries on social media. Political operatives know this, and it’s that indelible impression they want, one that sticks like a greasy fingerprint

While being interviewed by Astead Herndon on this week's #therunup, #RonnaRomneyMcdaniel repeated the lie that the southern #border is "open" and that Republicans aren't against #immigration, they're just against #IllegalImmigration.

And Astead, instead of asking her how requesting #asylum at the first border station you get to is illegal, just let it slide.

Astead W. Herndon is so good and clever, a real pleasure to listen!
