I'd always thought Bill Simmons, host of #TheRewatchables - one of my first podcast loves - might have some issues with race. I'm waiting for the outrage to happen over his two mentions of 'paki stores' in this week's episode. But brown people are so often invisible, that I'm not holding my breath.
It's completely weird how different kinds of racism can be manifested & treated so differently (not that it's a competition) when they're kind of rooted in fundamentally the same ground?
