I also saw #theoceanattheendofthelane in Glasgow and it was wonderful (I’m crossing my fingers for an NT live so overseas friends get a chance to enjoy it too) but my favourite part was when I was walking towards central station with a group of other audience members behind me and I heard a woman saying “that was weird, right? Really weird. Was it all in the old woman’s head? She was the only one who was real, right?”
And like, how confusing those 2.5 hours must have been for her with no familiarity with @neilhimself or fantasy as a genre but props to her for still having a go at trying to make sense of it.
Just back from seeing #TheOceanAtTheEndOfTheLane at the King’s Theatre in #glasgow
Oh wow. It was absolutely stunning! An incredible translation of the novel, with so many extra elements which couldn’t have worked in any other medium except live #theatre.
If you have a chance to see it wherever it’s playing next, don’t miss it; it’s a hell of a show!
As we all hopefully know, everything @neilhimself touches turns to magic, like a less cursed King Midas!
First time I have listened to an Audiobook in only two sessions. Simply wonderful story telling. Happiness ans Sadness and hope. A compelling story.

The Ocean At The End Of The Lane at Theatre Royal Bath. A standing ovation, and not a dry eye in the house. I'd been wanting to see this show for nearly four years, and it did not disappoint. Outstanding. If you get a chance to see this show then TAKE IT!
