Gonna rewatch The Novice film.

It’s on Netflix in the USA. I bought it on iTunes in 2022 solely because Amy Forsyth is the lead supporting actor in it, and I loved her performance in CODA. I loved The Novice. Rated it 9⭐️.

Fun fact: there was a lot of scenes shot in CODA detailing the relationship between Gertie and Leo. They were cut in the edit. It’s a pity they didn’t get released as extras.

The Novice film is now on Netflix US. It’s not on Netflix UK. I bought it on iTunes in 2022. My mini review was:

The Novice film is superb. It’s a brutalist study of obsessive drive to be the best in the things you do. Brutalist in the architecture of the campus and the intense training. Isabelle Fuhrman is remarkable as the lead. Amy Forsyth is great as support. The music and videography are brill. 9/10⭐️

Highly recommended.
