Lachlainn's always well-dressed for the classes he teaches at the academy, just as he was decades prior as a warrior. It's expected of him these days. "Casual" for him simply means a sweater beneath that green velvet coat of his, along with dark (or plaid) trousers. #PeterCapaldi is just too perfect for the role in my mind.

It would have to be Lachlainn. As broody as he is, always mysterious, miserable and quiet, he IS always dashing. He wears a dark emerald-green velvet jacket with waistcoats and tops beneath. He's such a well-dressed man. (I swoon.)

I always imagine #PeterCapaldi to be his face-claim. I'll attach some photos for reference, just to help show EXACTLY how I imagine him in my mind.

Lachlainn has such a dry (and dark) sense of humor. If you get to know him better, though, you'll find that he can also be quite silly and ridiculous at times as well. He has a good heart, and he also loves a corny joke. Seriously, what's not to love?

Ethan is lucky. He already has a partner. As for compatible traits: loving, compassionate, strong, willingness to try new things, courage, etc. These are all important things to him. Biddy gives him all of that love and more. They're the perfect match.

#WordWeavers 7.31 — Which of your characters would be the last survivor in a horror movie?

Either Ethan or Lachlainn (pronounced LOCK-LUN) would be the final one left standing. I can't decide which of them it would be. They're warriors, true to who they are, and they fight on, regardless of a tough situation or who's gone around them. They've lost friends and lovers in the past during wartime.

This series is a #romantasy one. In these fantasy stories, while there might a few different Pagan religions, our MCs (Lachlainn and Elspeth) never question their religious beliefs. Their faith in humanity, however, is constantly tested. Religion, not so much.

Not in this particular story, they're not. There isn't time for any babies. War takes precedence.

In every way imaginable, they do. This could be said for every way the simple term of "dreams" can or would be taken. Literally, emotionally, in a sense of one's desires in life, etc.
