Fantastici i Dream Syndicate ieri sera al Largo Venue a Roma: elettrizzanti.

Hanno suonato tutto «Medicine Show», come promesso (e per fortuna senza rispettare l'ordine delle tracce del disco), ma ci hanno buttato dentro anche pezzi recenti (spaziale la versione di How Did I Find Myself Here) e qualcosa di più vecchio (Tell Me When It's Over). Fantastica e stordente la versione di John Coltrane Stereo Blues (uno dei dieci pezzi più belli degli anni Ottanta, dico io), mi ha posseduto per un buon quarto d'ora. Applausi.

(Senza foto perché ne ho fatte solo due e sono veramente orribili)

Buone notizie: i Dream Syndicate hanno riottenuto i diritti dalla Universal Music e a ottobre pubblicheranno l'edizione deluxe di «Medicine Show», il loro secondo album (quarant'anni compiuti l'anno scorso).

Considerato che aspettavo la ristampa di questo disco da anni, potrei anche pensare di mettere le mani su questo lussuoso cofanetto da 4 CD, volevo dire (e in effetti l'ho scritto), ma ho fatto prima a preordinarlo che a inviare il toot 💿
