Salman Rushdie has hinted at a potential sequel to his memoir Joseph Anton, published by Jonathan Cape in 2012, in the first interview given by the author since he was attacked in August.

Following the publication of Prince Harry's Spare, some members of the publishing industry have called for more support for authors who write memoirs.
