Having the required amount of fun playing #Telehack. This game is for all you #retrocomputing nerds because it simulates the 1980s ARPANET and CP/M BBS scene. The game aspect is like capture the flag: there can be only one super user per system.

It’s all command lines, and there’s a relay chat and audio stream for when you want to chillax.

True friends stab you in the front…#cli #commandline #oscarwilde #eliza #telnet #terminal #telehack
En #Telehack pude trampolinear hasta "la VAX" ATINA (la máquina del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto donde se inició la Internet en la Argentina). Figuran todas las máquinas de los entes nacionales de la época de 1990!

looks like the #telnet server of #telehack has been down for the past few days now ...
just got an account on #telehack, poked around a bit. Kinda hoped that the systems you could wardial and telnet to and such would be, like, virtual machines, but no, they're literally just there for the look. Aesthetics over accuracy, again

aaaaaaand now I have hit a big wall in #telehack.

And I don't think anyone else has hit this and explained a solution or even a hint to a solution. Hrmf.

hey! how did #telehack pass by me undetected all these years? does anyone in my reach have a referal code for me so i can do so some unix hacking? ^^

boosts welcome.

Playable Archaeology: An Interview with Telehack's Anonymous Creator - Waxy.org

Telehack is the most interesting game I’ve played in the last year… a game that most users won’t realize is a game at all. It’s a tour de force hack — an interactive pastiche of 1980s computer history, tying together public archives of Usenet newsgroups, BBS textfiles, software archives, and historical computer networks into a […]
