Managed to work out how to get into this #Tandy Z-PDA "Zoomer". I haven't found any photos of the insides of this thing online yet.

Unfortunately this one seems to have had some hidden battery leakage, but it seems to be restricted to the speaker and wires for the battery. Everything else looks in good condition.

It can take an external PSU, but I can't find any details on it (voltage, polarity).

Also, it runs #GEOS.

Of all the platforms that had success in the 1980s but eventually died off without descendants, the ST Line from Atari is the one I wish would have known even more success. Being able to read/write PC floppies and having a UI not that far off from the Mac at a very low price (for 1985) meant it deserved a better fate, especially when it beat the affordable version of the Amiga by two years.

Still blaming Tandy for that one; creating an affordable PC jr. clone shaped like a PC and able to use much of the same hardware meant budget buyers flocked to the ubiquitous Radio Shack stores in the US instead of taking a chance on a potentially impressive computer from a company known for gaming.
