@lpag @thegradient That looks great, and exactly what I was looking for! It seems that hashtag is not seeing wide usage yet. I wonder if there is a way of communicating these conventions to everyone on an instance?

Some other useful ones besides #PaperThread, may be #TalkThread (for livetooting talks), and #MetaCommentary (posts about Mastadon or Twitter). I would also love to distinguish between author's posts vs. commentary in #PaperThread .
