Die Suche nach einem Session-Management für Firefox, nachdem KDE die Möglichkeit, das mit Konqueror und Aktivitäten zu lösen, im 6er Plasma entfernt hat … 🙄

Im Tab Session Manager funktioniert die Verfolgung der Fensteränderungen (bei mir und einigen anderen) nicht, die Firefox-nativen Tabgruppen werden nicht wiederhergestellt und es gibt keinen einfachen „die Fenster dieser Gruppe mit ihren Tabs jetzt speichern und schließen"-Knopf. Schade, scheint ja ansonsten der einzige Session Manager zu sein, der mit mehreren Fenstern in einer Gruppe umgehen kann.

Simple Tab Groups vergisst gerne mal angepinnte Tabs und stellt native Tabgruppen ebenfalls nicht wieder her. Außerdem dreht es bei mir immer wieder mal gerne länger Däumchen - währenddessen ist Firefox nicht ansprechbar.

Tab Stash kann zwar Tabgruppen hierarchisch speichern, aber keine Hierarchie am Stück wiederherstellen. Schade, sonst wäre das im Prinzip ein mehrfenstertauglicher Ansatz. Native Tabgruppen gehen auch hier beim Wiederherstellen verloren. Die Lösung zum Weglegen und Wiederherstellen von Gruppen ist nicht sehr intuitiv.

Also wird es Winger. Die UI gewinnt keinen Schönheitspreis, aber das Wegspeichern-Wiederherholen einer Gruppe ist sehr einleuchtend gelöst, native Tabgruppen bleiben erhalten, in den zur Ablage verwendeten Lesezeichen werden zusätzliche Infos zur Wiederherstellung der Tabs mit abgelegt. Funktioniert und ist nicht im Weg.
