17 House Dems voted for Trump's $1+ trillion defense budget in September:

-Cuellar #TX28
-Davis #NC01
-Gillen #NY04
-Golden #ME02
-Gonzalez #TX34
-Gottheimer #NJ05
-Gray #CA13
-Horsford #NV04
-Kaptur #OH09
-Lee #NV03
-Delaney #MD06
-Rivet #MI08
-Mrvan #IN01
-Perez #WA03
-Sykes #OH13
-Vindman #VA07
-Whitesides #CA27

Trump said he will request a $1.5 trillion defense budget for FY27. (Total national security spending is already much higher, blowing past the $1 trillion mark many years ago.)

Interesting: just as TX Republicans didn't draw #TX28 or #TX34 as red as they could have, VA Dems didn't draw #VA02 or #VA06 as blue as they could have. But in a year like 2026, Dems may end up winning all four seats in question (if VA map clears hurdles to enactment).

Do people in #WA03, #TX34, #TX28, #NJ05, #ME02, and #CA13 want federal spending to create jobs?

If so, they can ask their Blue Dog reps if they've read studies that education spending creates 3x more jobs than military spending. Healthcare more than 2x.

The conservative Democrats voted for a trillion-dollar defense budget for Trump's Department of War and defense spending in FY26, despite the Pentagon having never passed a financial audit.

Blue Dog Democrats Vote for Trillion-Dollar Defense Budget

The Blue Dog Coalition, a group of self-described fiscal conservatives led by Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), largely voted for the GOP-crafted bill pushing defense spending above $1 trillion.
