I hope humanity's first space colonies are free of commercial monopolies and fascism that threaten Earth societies today and would imperil individual future off-planet colonists.

Regarding #TWiS 122's criticism of Kelly and @ZachWeinersmith's A City on Mars, as a citizen of Earth, it is rational to be pessimistic about space colonization under a capitalist regime since the huge amount of resources required today must currently flow through billionaire-owned monopolies at the expense of earthbound humanity.

My opinion on space exploration is my opinion on Googleʼs YouTube app: I resent the entire situation since a monopoly is likely going to be the only game in town.
