This month I decided to run down, in no particular order, my favourite books, movies/TV and albums from the last 12 months.

I have just "discovered" Avatar: The Last Airbender - in the sense that I finally figured out how to watch it and I'm using it for my exercise watching while riding my stationary bike each morning.

It's about the perfect length, with episodes running a bit over 20 minutes.

If you know of any other shows like it - short episodes, light-hearted stories, don't require too much attention, please recommend? I will eventually run out of Avatar and Korra.

#AmWatching Dreaming Whilst Black, on the BBC.

Brilliant, smart. Love the pace. Silly in a serious way. Really hope they make a third series.

#AmWatching The Nature of Things - a Canadian science programme - series 63 episode 9 'Fluid: Life Beyond the Binary'.

Fun, easygoing documentary on sex and gender in nature, presented by Mae Martin, and includes snippets of their standup. Interviews with a bunch of scientists in relevant fields.

Really lovely in that wholesome science and nature documentary sort of way.
