My 12 year old LG (not smart) TV is having issues. When turning on, the top corner lights up telling me what connection (example cable or DVD player) is being made as usual. But then the screen then goes and stays black. The sounds works if applicable. I've tried several hacks on line with no luck yet. Seems like all the new TVs are smart TVs.
