#RobinGemperle has arrived at the start of the very last parcours of the #TPRno4! Fingers crossed for a smooth last stretch! 🤞🏼
#RobinGemperle in the last stretch of the #TPRno4 going off-road … in the darkness. Totally wild and bonkers!
Interesting insights from the #TPRNo4 media team:
On the summit of the Peyresourde, the Media Team catch Robin Gemperle (#TPRNo4Cap1) who continues to lead the Race. He was open about his mental state: tired and wanting nothing but to sleep. The Swiss told us that Anatole’s persistence had taken him by surprise, and that he was hoping that he would have cracked the Belgian by now.
[..]
Looking at the stats, Robin has had two 3.5H rests since the Start. Anatole (#TPRNo4Cap44), has had a similar amount of stopping time, spread out a bit more thinly. Manuel Rudaz (#TPRNo4Cap31) in contrast bagged a 5H rest partway through his Race and is fresh off of a nice 6.5H sleep last night, chasing another 50KM back from Anatole—perhaps waiting for his rivals to need a lie down.
