I'd thought it wasn't worth talking about Cornwall being 'asked' by League 1 clubs to step out of the 1895 Cup, at the behest of Championship clubs not wanting to go, 'as it's too far away, and costs too much', but I did just have a thought.

And I know money is tight and all, but wouldn't it be great if Toulouse invited them over there on a free week?

It'd be a bigger experience over Batley in the 1895 Cup anyway.

Excellent, and exciting sounding, news out of Toulouse Olympique from Matthew Shaw, of a takeover - that "will see the club enter a new era" - coming soon.

A lot more than the doom-and-gloom they would be shutting their doors reported elsewhere.

Talking of that, it looks like the Total Rugby League forum regulars will have to wait a bit longer, before they can pop open their champagne at their long-desired demise.

A thought I had this week about the RFL Championship Grand Final.

If #Featherstone Rovers lose their semi-final and #Toulouse Olympique win theirs, will they actually be allowed to actually host the match?

Will #Viaplay Sport traipse all of their equipment over and down to the south of France, given the channel and operation is being slowly wound up, and they haven't done so all of this season?

Sad to see what is happening at Toulouse Olympique, after last year in Super League.

Losing twice now this year at London Broncos - well Ebbsfleet, and the previous time York, at least - and not really being that close to winning in either match.

Talk about it being the latest lost opportunity for northern hemisphere rugby league (well London too fits that label I guess).
