I almost wrote when I said I wasn't going to worry with all the rumours of indicative votes of kicking clubs out, as Cornwall were supposedly bought out and would be moved by Bedford Tigers before this season, didn't actually happen.

Great to see that Cornwall got off the mark in 2024 today, and what a massive turnaround from the match against the same opponents only a few weeks ago, when Midlands Hurricanes won 72-6.

I'd thought it wasn't worth talking about Cornwall being 'asked' by League 1 clubs to step out of the 1895 Cup, at the behest of Championship clubs not wanting to go, 'as it's too far away, and costs too much', but I did just have a thought.

And I know money is tight and all, but wouldn't it be great if Toulouse invited them over there on a free week?

It'd be a bigger experience over Batley in the 1895 Cup anyway.
