I hope London Broncos lose all 27 matches next year after that. I'd rather Featherstone Rovers HAD won promotion instead now tbh. Would have at least made some sense.

Couldn't have seen them getting anywhere near to the Championship Grand Final a few months ago.

The RFL and Viaplay are now shitting themselves as to whether they will traipse down to Toulouse, or magically decide a neutral venue will be found.

And the Total Rugby League forum's 'anyone but TO' 'Featherstone will be promoted' army are in shambles right now.

Congrats to #Featherstone Rovers for becoming the first Championship team to win at #Toulouse since 2019, 29-16.

Indeed they were the last team to do so too, with 18 wins (including the London Broncos forfeit in 2021) in between.

They remain clear favourites imo - I've already anointed them as champions mid-season.

But it does now take away the 'it's hard to beat the same side three times' if they both make the Grand Final.

A thought I had this week about the RFL Championship Grand Final.

If #Featherstone Rovers lose their semi-final and #Toulouse Olympique win theirs, will they actually be allowed to actually host the match?

Will #Viaplay Sport traipse all of their equipment over and down to the south of France, given the channel and operation is being slowly wound up, and they haven't done so all of this season?
