Perhaps after a winter of darkness until 9:00 AM we'll move to permanent standard time instead!

Incidentally, did you know the US is the only country (sovereign state) in the world to not have a majority of its population living in a single time zone? Eastern Time covers ~46% of the population, during DST when it advances to the offset used by Puerto Rico, that's still only ~47%
