It's a pretty walk and not far to get from the end of the N-Judah line to the north end of the park, which is also the southwest corner of Golden Gate Park.
I appreciated the big street murals, and then crossed over into GGP to begin my walk eastward.
Very soon I was in among the trees and lush undergrowth surrounded by birdsong and spring flowers.
I paid my respects to the beach and the westward expanse, but it was really the new park, formerly most of the city's west side highway, which I'd come to enjoy.
It's great and they're only just getting started. It will be fantastic for all the little businesses along that west side of the Sunset district. I passed several brunch lines on those adjoining streets.
Fantastic to stroll with those expansive views and happy folks (and their even happier dogs) all around.
