GNU raises state of alert to confront effects of Sudanese war
Ministry of Social Affairs of the Government of National Unity organized a meeting on Friday to discuss the impact of the Sudanese refugees on Libya and to assist the refugees humanely. The attendees stressed the need to raising the level of readiness to confront the effects of the war in Sudan.

Local official says 40.000 Sudanese refugees are registered in Al-Kufra
Al-Kufra Municipality spokesman Abdullah Suleiman said that the number of documented Sudanese refugees reached 40,000, in addition to those who enter Libya and are not registered. Suleiman added in a statement to Reuters that the humanitarian conditions experienced by Sudanese refugees are extremely difficult, pointing to the lack and weakness of support from both local and international organizations.

Al Kufra branch of the Ambulance and Emergency Department announced on Friday the death of 4 Sudanese refugees due to a car rollover in the Al-Awinat area south of Kufra. 4 others were also wounded, according to the branch's statement on its Facebook page.

The Martyr Attia Al-Kassah Teaching Hospital in Kufra has received 10 displaced Sudanese, who were injured in a car rollover accident southeast of the city.
