I've seen an uptick in links to Substack lately, so here's yet another reminder:

Substack is a transphobic, pro-Nazi platform. Many of will not follow links to it. We are not giving that place any eyeballs or clicks.

Publishing there, or linking to it, helps the Nazi site owners. Please don't do it.

I'm begging people to reconsider using Substack for their newsletters.

There are other services, perhaps less fancy but serviceable nonetheless. And there's always Patreon or Koffi, which allows non-paying members to follow/read public posts, same as Substack does.

I've seen a number of people promoting their newsletters here, and I wonder how many of them know about this.

Jodie Troutman (@LongTallJodie on twitter): "I feel like people have already forgotten, but Substack continues to platform transphobes making thousands upon thousands of dollars a month off their newsletters. They refuse to ban hate speech from the platform."
