Joe ChouSad but grateful today. Told CFI that I'd be stopping flight training. Just under 100 hours total time, 33 hours solo, just needed school stage check + FAA checkride.
I'm grateful that I fulfilled a childhood dream of FLYING, but this is enough.
I'm going to miss the sky.

Drove to a local airfield which has a well-regarded breakfast / lunch restaurant.
The French toast was out of this world.
Have done touch-and-goes there and used it for a XC checkpoint, but never “been” there.
Someday I hope to spend $400 to fly there to get the same food.

Solo long cross-country finally done! Air was a bit rough below 3000 feet especially for this #studentpilot, but the sky was clear enough to see checkpoints from WAY far away. Just a beautiful but bumpy day. As always, I could have flown better, but it's done!
