I download my purchases once, and you never have to serve me another byte of them again.
It's convenient for me, and as a bonus, I can back them up, convert them to future device formats, never lose access to them if you let the rights lapse, etc.

Please, please stop trying to convince me to sign up for a never-ending subscription to "stream" your stuff.
