Per recommendations, I'm now on #pop_os and so far, so good. So many questions, though. Programs meant to work with my #streamdeck claim it's not plugged in. The #streamerx is working as an audio source but doesn't appear as a video capture card despite others saying it works.

What do? o:

Even if I get my encoding working - plugins are more plentiful/easier to install on Windows & software for many streaming accessories don't have a #linux version. #GoXLR the #Rode #StreamerX & #Razor & #Elgato stuff all lack linux software. Suppose I could run OBS on the laptop booted into windows with HDMI capture of the linux desktop - but if I'm going to do that why not just use windows directly on the desktop? (2/2)

Anscheinend muss mensch wohl weiterhin HDCP-Stripper vor die HDMI-Matrix packen...

Damit ist der #RØDE #StreamerX bei mir durchgefallen - außer alles ist auch ohne #Schrott - #Software einstellbar und das Teil läuft per #USB - #UVC ohne Fuchtelei unter #Linux!
