Sorry Greenpeace, Oil companies need to make a profit so #StopDeepSeaMining isn't going to happen! Screw the environment, multiple oil company shareholders along other capitalist interests need a new yaught and a Lambo! Sorry deep-sea aquatic fauna, you'll just have to get a job, pull yourself up by the fins and tentacles and maybe one day as, let's say, as a example, Vampyroteuthis infernalis, you can become a land vampire squid! This is obviously promoting evolution of the species! #sarcasm

The tide is turning! ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ป Norway joins 40 other countries in temporarily halting deep-sea mining. Scientists, NGOs and companies are calling for a precautionary pause until we fully understand the consequences of mining the seabed.
The reality is:
Science isn't ready,
The law isn't ready,
And the Ocean definitely isn't ready.
