Curiosity finally got the better of me. I went and checked out the #Brava oven so many people are raving about. First, yes, it looks pretty impressive. Like the Swiss Army knife of ovens. Then I looked at the price. #StickerShock I will not be getting one. A huge part of why I say this, along with the fack that I don’t have $1995 laying around, is that we bought an oven when we moved into the house last year. It’s a GE, with the Braille overlays. It has an upper and lower oven, and settings for convection and air fry. So we really don’t need #Brava at this point. But I’m enjoying the posts of those who are using them.

When my back starts hurting after a long walk or workout, I know it’s time for a new pair of athletic shoes, so today was the day—for sticker shock!

$30 more for the same brand as 9 months ago! I was ready to leave without the shoes but realized I can’t actually go barefoot all winter…..so I paid and left.

This isn’t even the most recent upgrade to that line of shoes—those are $50 more than what I paid….does it ever end?

5am and miserably itching from #poisonivy I emailed Dr yesterday who promptly called in an Rx. After an out of stock delay, had #stickershock at the #pharmacy when I went to pick it up last nite. $150 for a tube of ointment! Used to be $15 under old insurance. My new #medicare plan classified it as a tier 4 subject to a high deductible. Now have to contact Dr again (no easy feat) to see if he can prescribe something less costly. Gosh, I hate the state of #healthcare in the US.
