Brian Lavelle has movedMan, Stephen W. Tayler's new (well, 2024) stereo mix of Hawkwind's 1971 album In Search of Space is revelatory.
I don't often hear much of a difference with these things, but it's like everything is alive and oscillating at a slightly higher vibration than I’m used to. This was the first Hawkwind album I heard, and I vividly recall listening to it while on a train home from school in Glasgow in about 1985. Haven't felt the same about music since.
