I have a Mazda iStop question, I think 🤔

I hear the neighbours drive into their driveway and stop. Then I hear what sounds like the car starting, just for a second or so.

Is this what a Mazda 6 2.5l Touring Wagon does, because of iStop?

In case geography is relevant, the road is downhill to the driveway, which is slightly uphill, and about 2 car lengths long.
