Premier Ford has made significant changes to the committee that selects #Ontario judges, including appointing two of his own staff.
Legal associations have deemed Ford's changes unnecessary as they open the door for patronage appointments to the bench and water down a process that was once described as the "gold standard" for appointing judges.
